The Bare Minimum for Skincare

Okay, let’s be real. Sometimes, you just don’t have the energy to do an entire, luxurious skincare routine, and that’s okay! Skincare looks different for EVERYONE, but there’s two things that you should ALWAYS be doing!

  1. Cleansing your face before you go to bed.
  2. Moisturizing your face before you go to bed.

These two steps are SO crucial for your skin’s health, even if you don’t wear makeup, because night time is when the skin heals and regenerates its cells!

During the day, our skin is exposed to all kinds of germs, dirt, pollution, and debris that cause harm and damage to the skin. Being sure to wash all of this off of our face allows the skin to do its job. If not, our skin has to work twice as hard.

I like to think of it as putting your skin to bed so that it can get a good night’s sleep too! If you’re not already in the habit of doing these two things, it’s never too late to start!
